Students of V2E, V2F and H2E experience the English culture for 3 days.

During these 3 days the students were challenged to speak English as much as possible. They spent 2 nights at host families and visited Brighton and London.

The students went for a two-hour cliff walk on Wednesday morning. Thanks to the sunny weather they enjoyed the impressive sight of the white ‘Seven Sisters’ cliffs. After lunch they arrived at Brighton where they could do some shopping. At half past three they were expected at the Royal Pavillion where a guide took them on a very interesting tour. After this visit the students had some more free time in which they could buy some more souvenirs and have a bite to eat. The day was finished at the bowling centre.

On Thursday morning, after saying goodbye to the host families, the students left for London. First item on their programme was a visit to the Natural History Museum (too short to see everything!). They ate their packed lunch in the park (thanks to again! the lovely weather) next to the museum. At one o’clock Cate, the guide, showed them many interesting buildings and places in London (on foot, by underground and by bus). One of the students assisted a street artist at Covent garden, which meant great fun for the rest of the group. Since time flies when you’re having fun, they all had to have a very quick supper because they were supposed to be at the Dominion Theatre at half past seven. The musical ‘We will rock you” was a perfect end of a great trip!
