Joyful presentation of Anglia certificates to bilingual pupils (classes of 2007-2008)

Forty-seven pupils and their parents were welcomed, on October 14th , to the official closure of three years of bilingual education.

After the reception with coffee and specially-made Anglia cakes, the evening was opened by temporary Principal Mr Harry Balk.

Then two pupils Abdullah Saraj and Juriaan Moonen  presented their vision on the past three years. Isabel Vermeer and Nikki Lammers both recited a few English poems written by classmates during their first year at the Philips van Horne.

Next was the power-point presentation showing the many highlights of three years of bilingual education made by former tutors Ms Sascha Engbersen and Mr Matt Verstappen.

After this retrospective part of the evening, it was time for the official part: the presentation of the certificates.

All pupils passed either for the Advanced or Proficiency (highest) Level . Three pupils managed to pass for the highest grade (distinction) of the Proficiency Level. Congratulations to Hester van Beers, Abdullah Saraj and Sharon Ubani.

Each pupil was given a big hand while collecting the certificate. The drink afterwards concluded this memorable evening.
