Amanda and her band members Paul and Mark (all from Michigan, USA) spoke about different aspects of the music industry ("it's definitely not all about sex and drugs and rock 'n roll"!) and their experiences ("it's all about perseverance!").

They complimented the TTO-pupils on their choice for bilingual education. They explicitly emphasized the importance of being bilingual. "It will open many doors in the future!", as Amanda put it.

Each guest lesson was concluded by an uplugged version of one of Amanda's songs followed by an enthusiastic applause. Many pupils asked for Amanda's signature and wanted a picture taken with her.

Lunch had been organised by 3 TTO-pupils. In the morning, the same pupils had been showing the 3 American guests around our school.

Just before leaving the Philips they paid a quick visit to one of the IB-groups (special request by Ms Bruls).
